Sanders Funeral Care, with business locations in Crawfordsville and Kingman, purchased the Shoemaker Funeral Home in Waynetown and decided that the existing structure needed a facelift.  The remodel included improving the function, flow and efficiency of the current structure.  This was accomplished in part by removing the unused second floor apartment and expanding the ceiling height and size of the Chapel.  A new covered entry was also added to the north side of the building.  This stunning improvement was completed in 2023.
