Thornton-Lee House

The Thornton-Lee House was originally built in 1869 by the Blair family, relatives of the locally famous Elston and Lane families, in the Queen Anne Style in Crawfordsville’s Elston Grove area.  This home required much needed upgrades and repairs.  Existing hardwood floors, plaster walls and ceilings, stairs, doors, hardware and steam radiators were stripped, repaired and refinished for reuse.  Most of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were replaced because of poor condition.  This beautiful Historic home was largely renovated in 2007 with ongoing improvement projects still being completed and is once again a quality featured home in the area.
